Creating Networks

Networks are a logical grouping and connectivity layer for devices and services within Mesh of Things. Use them to isolate groups of devices, apps, and services owned by an organisation.

Networks are useful when you want to separate:

• Development and production fleets
• Teams within the same organisation
• Customer-specific device groups

Creating a Network

1. Navigate to Networks in the dashboard.
2. Click Create network.
3. Enter a Name for the network. Use a human-friendly name that makes the purpose of the network clear.
4. Click Create network to save it.

Assigning Devices

When adding a new device, you can select the network it should belong to during provisioning. This lets you place the device into the correct network from the start.
